Hi, I’m Andrii
I’m a Digital Marketing student at Anglia Ruskin University in London, graduating in 2028. This blog is where I write about what I’m building, what I’m learning, and what works (and what doesn’t).
I learn by doing
In 2024 I founded CanBuy Limited and launched a Shopify store selling lamps. I did all of it myself: researching and sourcing the products, building the store, making the visuals in Canva, running paid campaigns in Meta Business Suite and tracking the results in Google Analytics. Most of what I know about audiences, creative testing and checking whether anyone actually wants a product came from that store, not from a textbook.
What I’m building now
Neon Hustle is a cyberpunk browser RPG you can play on desktop or phone. You start with nothing in a rainy neon city and work your way up: closing deals, running deliveries, fighting gangs and bosses, and climbing the leaderboards. I build it in JavaScript with AI-assisted development, and I design the world, the story and the look of it myself. Play it here.
EU Calm is a community Rust server I run (calmservers.com). It shows me every week what it takes to bring players in and keep a community coming back, which is exactly the kind of marketing I want to do.
Alongside university
I work as a Supervisor with RAM Agency, leading hospitality teams at different venues across London. Every site is different, so I’ve learnt to take charge quickly, adapt, and keep people organised when it gets busy.
AI and marketing
I’m especially interested in how AI is changing marketing. I use Claude and ChatGPT every day for code, research and planning, and I’ve completed IBM’s Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals. Neon Hustle is partly an experiment in how far one person can get with these tools.
What to expect here
- Behind the scenes of Neon Hustle: new features, art and what players do
- Marketing experiments and what the numbers said
- Notes on the AI tools I actually use
Get in touch
I’m looking for marketing internships, placements and junior roles in tech and games: in London, hybrid or remote. If that sounds like your team, have a look at my portfolio or message me on LinkedIn.
